Creative Niche is honoured to have been a part of DesignThinkers2011 as a sponsor and an exhibitor. Nichers Jayla Mortensen, Taylor Gilbert and Glen Porter were on site at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre over November 2nd and 3rd at the Creative Niche exhibitors booth which featured a Name That Designer contest for a chance to win a Kobo Touch e-reader and a $100 gift card to Chapters Indigo. Guests and delegates of the design convention who participated in our contest worked their design muscles (and their smart phones) to guess who designed the peace sign (Gerald Holtom UK, 1958), the Nike swoosh (Carolyn Davidson USA, 1971), the Apple logo (Rob Janoff/Regis McKenna USA, 1997), and the Canadian flag (George Stanley, John Matheson, and Jacques St-Cyr, 1964). The winner of the Kobo gift pack was Irena Howard, Sr Graphic Designer. Thank you to all those who stopped by our booth to visit and to participate in Name That Designer!
