Ottawa held their very first TEDx event on Saturday, October 22nd2011. Creative Niche was a proud sponsor of TEDxOttawa. The event was held a new industrial space at Algonquin College. Debra Sharpe and Christel Gallant of Creative Niche’s Ottawa office were in attendance. The theme of TEDxOttawa2011 was Creative Actions; about going out on a limb – thinking outside the box on being creative. The speakers discussed topics ranging from ‘no is not an option’ to facing adversity and how they’ve achieved success by putting their creative actions into play.
Debra notes Kelly Daisy as the most memorable speaker of the afternoon. Kelly spoke about how she found her new niche in blogging and reinvented herself by being creative in her own ways.
TEDxOttawa proved to be an informative and inspiring event.
