Creative Niche’s recruitment team is working with a large telecommunications company downtown Toronto. They're looking to hire a full-time Manager of CRM to lead the brand and marketing team.

We are looking for someone who has led CRM teams within a large corporation or a leading agency, and is well versed in best-practices in email marketing and campaign management. You will work with various business units to define content strategy, testing templates, and improve direct response results. You will ultimately be responsible for prioritizing campaign efforts across the organization, building an internal studio and overseeing the day-to-day delivery of all email campaigns. 


  • Primary change-agent accountable for evolving our client’s CRM strategy from a manual non-reoccurring, non-scale approach to an automated-first mandate, designed to minimize time to market and maximize business outcomes
  • Primary point of governance to ensure our client is investing internal human and financial resources against the campaigns with the greatest business value
  • Recruit, build and lead a team designed to design, develop and manage the delivery of our customer-base and prospecting communications:
  • Project Managers that lead campaign governance, and support the implementation/deployment of D2C campaigns through prioritization, marketing calendar and artifact management
  • Marketing Managers that support the migration to a new email operating model and email deployment platform
  • HTML developers that develop and deploy emails in partnership with the Marketing Manager and the customer communications team
  • Proactively plan future project phases and long-term CRM strategy; think holistically about all D2C marketing mediums and further identify, evaluate, prioritize and plan opportunities for further automation – resulting in reduced time and effort to market
  • Be an internal visionary for ideating and ensuring our client’s campaigns are planned and executed across multiple channels to ensure maximum effectiveness our campaigns


  • In-depth knowledge of Adobe Campaign and/or Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Experience either leading an Agency CRM account team, studio; and/or experience as a CRM lead within a large company
  • Experience designing marketing campaigns, from ideation to journey-design
  • Ability to build strategic relationships and partner with key stakeholders across the organization in marketing and customer communications, as well as across agencies and vendors to understand and properly influence strategies/campaigns
  • Actively work to resolve escalated issues effectively and manage any change within projects
  • Be able to troubleshoot basic technical issues related to HTML code, data segmentation, and analytics
  • Support fellow team members (data strategy, measurements, etc.) in building initiatives, artifacts and driving forward and communicating change across the organization
  • Support creation of new and modifications to existing processes as required to support evolving business requirements
  • Lead implementation of special projects as required
  • Has a deep knowledge of CRM technology, marketing communications and associated mediums
  • Superior project management, negotiation and facilitation skills
  • High Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of Google for Work programs an asset
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize work activities and meet aggressive deadlines
  • Experience establishing and maintaining cross functional relationships
  • Takes ownership, initiative, shows sense of urgency and is self-directed
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Creativity and problem solving ability to overcome unexpected obstacles
  • Passion for excellence, strong work ethic and solutions-oriented
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills with the ability to train and lead peers through processes and meetings
  • Proven ability to manage relationship across an organization
  • Minimum requirement is for a University Degree preferably in Business/Marketing
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in a Marketing Communications department of a large organization or large advertising agency
  • Telecom industry experience considered an asset
