Our client is looking to expand their team to include new junior to intermediate Web Production Designers to work onsite in  Toronto. This is great opportunity to work with a team on a freelance basis and further develop their experience and portfolio with exciting brands.

Web Projects Include:

• The re-launch of product websites and micro-sites

• 50-70% daily production work: photo cropping, button design, page layouts and creation within templates, ad banner management, product updates via CMS, site graphic updates, assistance to the senior web designers.

• Online marketing campaigns: the design and production of e-blasts, banner ads, contests and all related page or microsite creation/support

• Developing original web design concepts based on provided briefing and guidelines

Requirements:

• Design graphics and page layouts for ongoing site and content updates

• Ad media design and production

• Provide production support on medium and large-scale projects

• Maintain and adhere to site design standards and content templates

• Deliver solutions within existing constraints and limitations

• Accountable for accuracy, project deadlines, and contributing to project completion

• Apply knowledge of current web trends, user experience and the project process

• Posses a positive attitude: flexible, enthusiastic and professional

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1+ years of relevant experience in a busy, demanding studio environment

• Design portfolio that clearly demonstrates required skills and experience

• Excellent knowledge of current web trends, image optimization and production best practices

• Excellent skills in design, layout and typography

• Proficiency using industry standard tools including; Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign Dreamweaver, and Flash as well as Adobe Acrobat.

• Beneficial but not mandatory to be proficient in front-end web production using HTML and CSS

• Highly organized and accountable self starter who is able to juggle multiple priorities

• Strong attention to detail and time management

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

• Relevant post secondary education
