Product Marketing Manager – Mississauga, Canada | Permanent

We have an exciting full-time (permanent) opportunity to join a leading-edge organization in the energy sector where innovation and forward thinking prevails!  The company is located just west of GTA.

We are looking for an experienced Product Marketing Manager (with digital experience) with a minimum of 5+ years in a Product Marketing/Product Management with both B2C and B2B clients.

This is not a generic Marketing role. Prior experience will include developing key strategies and product offerings in go to market campaigns and initiatives. You are a Subject Matter Expert in Product Marketing, perhaps coming from leading edge technology or software environment where you have developed products for both B2B and B2C Canadian national organizations (experience working within Canadian organizations and environments are critical for this role).

As an experienced professional in defining product messaging, you will be supporting the sales team but also carving your own path within this organization.  Limited competition in this sector will allow you to be innovative and competitive too!

Job Responsibilities:  

  • Create product offerings that engage customers in both residential and business segments
  • Create data and analytics reports identifying opportunities based on customer segments through research, competitive analysis, gathering industry trends, and working closely with Sales and Operations
  • Design and implement initiatives for all markets and work with cross-functional teams to create and build awareness and ROI
  • Develop financial analysis and Marketing materials for product launches or enhancements
  • Provide Sales support and education resources

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience in developing business plans, business cases, pricing analysis, competitive reviews and launching new products (must speak to specific examples)
  • Experience and keen interest within energy sectors and/or environmental initiatives
  • 5+ years marketing related experience in B2C and B2B marketing
  • Experience in developing marketing content and messaging; designing and implementation of digital marketing, direct mail and demand generation programs
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in a results-driven, team oriented environment
  • Strong skills in planning, organizing, implementing and communicating
  • Strong computer skills, working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); CRM tools, SalesForce and other marketing automation tools (prior experience working within digital tools a must)
