In 2002, Mandy Gilbert founded Creative Niche with the intent to change the relationship between recruiter, client, and talent. And that’s exactly what she’s done.
A simple idea to create an agency with an intuitive, humanizing approach to matching clients and talent has grown into one of the largest recruiting firms of its kind. Over 14,000 successful matches, multiple offices, a talent roster of over 80,000 creative professionals -- and that’s just the beginning.
Always looking for opportunities to learn and develop, Mandy relentlessly pursues continuing education. She graduated from MIT‘s elite Entrepreneurial Masters Program in 2012, completed Great Leaders, Great Results from Bell Leadership Institute and is an active member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO).
Mandy’s also received the Enterprising Women of the Year Award, ranked on PROFIT’s PW100 and PROFIT 500 lists for her entrepreneurial success, has been recognized as a United Nations Global Accelerator, and a Founding Member of the 50/50 Initiative.
In 2015 Mandy co-founded now Canada’s fastest growing design and technology college, RED Academy, an impact-driven fully accredited private college offers part and full-time programs in digital marketing, UX/UI design, web and app development. RED Academy has campuses in Vancouver, Toronto and London (UK).
When she’s not keynote speaking, writing, or meeting with business leaders, you’ll find Mandy at home spending time with her two sons in Toronto.
